    • Meng En Orphanage
      Our Children 
       The children who come to Meng En are those who have come to the end of the road in terms of being cared for and loved. They are children who are no longer wanted by the overburdened governmental orphanages that are unable to adequately care for them. The children have various types of special needs, both physical and developmental, and many of them are from minority backgrounds.     • Our Challenge Today
       
       Light at the end of the tunnel.  We have overcome many challenges in the relocation of our orphanage and vocational school.  After nearly seven years of struggle, we have finally completed construction of the outside of the building that was assigned to us after local government, in the name of progress, kicked us out of our original building.  The outside construction of the four storey building with full basement, was completed in August, 2019.  We are currently working on interior construction, seeking funds for all that is needed to provide the most modicum of amenities for a building that as of now has nothing but bare concrete walls.  We are in need of $187,662 to complete indoor construction, and move in by the end of 2020.  https://chinanestofhope.org/2020/01/our-challenge-today-2/
